Our project stems from the close correlation between culture and food.
Starting with the culture and following the local traditions, we aim to tell about food, its characteristics and what makes it excellent.
We believe that the quality of our products in Italy is a direct consequence of our history, and our climatic and territorial characteristics. On the basis of our tradition and our territory we are looking for excellence in our products, and also we are looking for production companies who have a story to tell through their products.
Our goal is not simply to import Italian products of high quality but describe them in order to enhance not just their flavor but what makes them unique.
Silentransformation is a company from Hong Kong consisting of four Italian members. The operational base is in Hong Kong. What distinguishes us is the constant search for different products that are made in Italy through study of the area and the local businesses and their niches. Thanks to this kind of research we have found support and cooperation on behalf of the producers who are part of the Slow Food, whose work has also been recognized by Gambero Rosso. The choice of our name “Silentransformation “ is not random, the meaning of the name is linked to all the subtle transformations that take place in such a manner that are not immediately experienced until we look back and discern the transformation. This is what happens in nature: a succession of many small changes that give life to different products.
